Biografia

Nikolaos (Nick) Ioannis Deligiannis took his Bachelor's and Master's degree from the department of Computer Science and Engineering of University of Ioannina in July of 2019. He finished on the top 2% percent of his class. He was primarily interested in computer hardware related topics from his very first steps. As an undergraduate student, he was selected to serve as a laboratory instructor for various hardware related courses, in a position available only for master and doctorate students at his department. His thesis, available here, concerns the design and the implementation of a RV core. On September of 2019 he moved to Torino, Italy and worked as a research assistant for the department of Control and Computer Engineering of Politecnico di Torino focusing on test and dependability related matters. On the January of 2020 he applied for the PhD position and he was successfully admitted to the program. His interests now revolve around processor testing, safety critical systems, formal techniques and topics around the reliability of neural networks.
