Biografia

I am currently an Assistant Professor (RTD-A) at the Department of Computer and Control Engineering, Politecnico di Torino, working on Machine Learning, Wearable Sensors, Data Analytics, Human Activity Recognition (HAR), and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). I obtained my Bachelor's (B.Sc.) and Master's (M.Sc.) degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in 2015 and 2018, respectively. I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in January 2023 with a thesis on wearable sensors and artificial intelligence for Parkinson's disease monitoring. My research interests include telemedicine, machine learning, motion analysis, and neurodegenerative disorders. In particular, I focus on the use of wearable technology and artificial intelligence for monitoring elderly subjects and people with neurological disorders.
