19th ACM International Conference on Computing Frontiers

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, with some sessions in-person at the Valentino Castle here in Turin, and some ones online

Professor Luca Sterpone, working in our Department, is organizing, with his Aerospace & Reconfigurable Computing Team, the 19th ACM International Conference on Computing Frontiers, an initiative sponsored by Politecnico di Torino, NVIDIA, IBM, ACM and SIGMICRO.
During the years, Computing Frontiers has got a distinguished tradition of being a great technical conference, surrounded by many excellent workshops and special events, all dealing with emerging technologies in the broad held of computing and their impact on Society.
This year the conference will be hel at the amazing Valentino Castle, the seat of the Architecture Faculty of our Polytechnic.
The Conference program aims to achieve the goals of interdisciplinarity, inclusiveness and the development of a comprehensive and welcoming community.
To achieve these results, and, at the same time, to preserve the health and well-being of the community, the Organizing Committee has decided to prepare, for the first time, a hybrid event, realized partly in person and partly online.
Thanks also to this decision, this year has been set up a complete event, in which the technical program, strong and far-sighted, is also supported by a greater number of workshops, by various sessions and special events, and by the presentation of two keynote talks of the highest profile given by:

  • Riccardo Mariani, widely recognized as an expert in functional safety and reliability of integrated circuits and currently Vice President of Industry Security at NVIDIA, and
  • José E. Moreira, distinguished research staff member at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center.
