15° Bitcoin Pizza Day!

On May 22, 2010, programmer Laszlo Hanyecz paid 10,000 Bitcoin for two pizzas. This was the first time Bitcoin was used to purchase goods in the real world. Since then, the Bitcoin community has celebrated Pizza Day every year on May 22. The 10,000 Bitcoins, worth about $41 at the time, would be worth more than a billion dollars today.
Every year on May 22, the cryptocurrency community celebrates Bitcoin Pizza Day to commemorate this historic transaction.
