Francesca Russo wins the “Best Late Breaking Results Award”

Francesca Russo, PhD student in AI at DAUIN, received the Best Late Breaking Results Award at the 17th ACM SIGCHI Symposium on Engineering Interactive Computing Systems (EICS 2025).
Her paper, titled "Bridging Web and Figma: Automating Large-Scale UI Dataset Generation for AI-Enhanced Design," was co-authored with Tommaso Calò and Luigi De Russis.

Abstract: The work introduces an automated pipeline that converts HTML-based UIs into Figma-compatible representations, enabling the creation of large-scale datasets for training AI-driven design assistants without the need for manual annotation.
