Beyond the Screen: Museum Wibergis Case Study, masterclass hel by director Martina Scarpelli.

The event is organized as part of the European project AVENUE Cove - Audiovisual Education and Training Network for European Vocational Excellence, led by Ecosystem XR and co-participated by the DAUIN.
This masterclass is organized in collaboration with Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia Piemonte - Animation National Film School and the Film Commission Torino Piemonte.

Abstract: In this masterclass, Martina Scarpelli presents a case study on the audiovisual projects developed for Museum Wibergis. The session explores how animation can operate within exhibition and spatial contexts, highlighting the relationship between animated images, physical space, and audience experience. It will also show how virtual reality can be used during development for previsualization of space and to design the interaction between content and exhibition environment.

Bio: Martina Scarpelli is an Italian director, creative director, and producer, trained at the Accademia di Brera and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Based in Denmark since 2015, she serves as creative director for the audiovisual productions of Museum Wibergis, works as a researcher at The Animation Workshop (VIA University College), directs and co-produces animated documentaries, and is developing the multimedia opera-concert Songs of Envy.
