NETGROUP - Computer Networks Group

The Computer Networks Group (NetGroup) is a research group focused on computer networks. It is involved in several teaching activities (courses), research projects (both academic and applied research), and consulting activities. Main research directions include communication protocol engineering and network software engineering (formal methods applied to protocols and model-based development of network software), high-speed packet processing and pipeline forwarding of packets, and new network architectures (e.g. software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV)).
