Matteo Sonza Reorda e Esteban Rodriguez vincono il LATS Best Paper Award 2025

Il 20 marzo, in occasione della cerimonia di chiusura del 27° IEEE Latin American Test Symposium 2026 (LATS2026) è stato annunciato il Best Paper Award 2025.

Il premio è stato assegnato all’articolo Estimating the Impact of Soft Errors on AI-based Perception in Automotive, che vede tra gli autori Matteo Sonza Reorda e Josie Esteban Rodriguez Condia del nostro dipartimento, in collaborazione con Shailesh Hegde, Dinesh Cyril Selvaraj, Nicola Amati, Carla Fabiana Chiasserini, Francesco Deflorio.

L’articolo è il frutto del lavoro del team di ricerca del Centro per l’Automotive e la Mobilità Sostenibile (CARS) del Politecnico di Torino.

Abstract
The paper describes a method to analyze the effects of hardware faults in ADAS systems, considering their impact on vehicle behavior. Thanks to the new method, the computational cost of the required reliability analysis can be reduced, allowing designers to devise more effective hardening solutions and identify the most critical scenarios.
