Treating Parkinson's with Artificial Intelligence, Smartphones and Sensors to monitor patients

Artificial Intelligence algorithms to detect and monitor Parkinson's symptoms. This is the new frontier in the management of the degenerative disease tested by the SMILIES research group of DAUIN, led by Prof. Gariella Olmo.
The research activity is implemented for DAUIN, in addition to Professor Gabriella Olmo, by the researcher Luigi Borzì, and is carried out in collaboration with the Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino, represented by the neurology team of the Molinette Hospital. The researchers of the Interdepartmental Centro Interdipartimentale PolitoBIOMed Lab, coordinated by Dr. Marco Ghislieri of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications-DET, are also involved in the project.
